How Strom Got Started

In 1961, Donald Strom founded Strom Engineering as a provider of temporary engineering services for Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the surrounding areas. Soon, Strom Engineering began branching out to serve a wider range of staffing needs and situations, including strikes and labor disputes. By the 1990s, Strom’s footprint spread nationally, and under the leadership of John Radick, Strom established itself as the industry-leading labor provider and advisor to companies facing union contract expirations and other labor challenges. Over the 60 years of manufacturing and industrial staffing, the company has continued to grow and expanded its temporary staffing, consulting, and contingency planning services.
